oh well, i've had a nice day today. it feels great to have a change once in a while. for once, or twice rather, i was not the person behind the camera capturing the moment. instead, i was the one taking part in the activity. i feel proud of myself:D and i feel good;D so have a nice day everybody:D

whats's happening to my life? everything's going in the wrong direction. is it because i did not put in enough effort for everything thats why it has all gone wrong? i wanna take a break. a break without work, without school, without you , without anybody.i'm tired. really tired.
4007: i know most or even ALL of you wouldn't catch this few lines of words i have for you given the low profile of my blog. and i know even if you read this i know some of you may think i am not fit to say this to you, but i dont give a damn. i just wanna solve your problems. i know i'm absent for at least 50% and above of the activities and i am really not sure of what's going on in your lives but first. FAC is just ROUND THE CORNER. do you feel the tension and the pressure? is it pushing you all to do better? if it's not, you're either very very very well prepared or you have lost confidence in yourself and your team and do not wanna bother about doing anythg to it. i hope it's the first reason if you're not working harder, under the pressure. next, i know there are three teams in your squad but at the end of the day, after the competition has ended, wouldn't all of you come back together as a 4007, no longer NA/NC/AA? you guys may not like me, may not respect me as a senior due to my constant absence, but i can tell you confidently that all this do not matter. as your squad com, i dont wanna see you guys get upset over each other due to the different teams and positions you get. i hope this FAC would serve, instead, as a learning point for all of you, to learn to work together, function together, as a SQUAD, not as your individual teams. seriously, winning or not is secondary. it is not whether you'll get there or not. it is whether HOW you get there. the process is, at the end of the day, more important than the trophy you get from winning the competition. i don't care whether you win, you lose or even if you listen to my words or not. i don't care. i am here to GUIDE you. not to show you how to do it. i don't care whether you respect me or not that's crap. i see each and every one of you as my friend, not my cadets. it's just up to you whether you wanna trust me, the senior, the squad com, who is constantly absent(apparently not a good example for you guys to learn from), to let me know the troubles and problems you're facing, any difficulties you need help in. you may choose to be closer to other seniors and ask them for help for all i care. like i mentioned earlier on, i dont give a damn. so well, the decision lies in you, whether to clear the misunderstanding or to take over the corps with a grudge for your squadmate. it'll be none of my concern by that time, so make the right decisionn and never regret.
Council: like i said in the afternoon, this is a critical time for all of us. we really need to stand as one council to excel, to prove ahjia wrong. my dearest councillors, i have faith in everyone that we can pull through, maybe a little injured, but this helps to toughen us up right. in this point of time, let's all remain positive and continue to work hard, with our fighting spirits burning with passion. WAS that a bomb, a terrorist attack, a person struck by lightning or was it just a simulation? so many different versions of the evacuation spread by word of mouth. which one is more believable than the others? i guess all we can do is to wait for the news to update us or be patient and wait for the teachers to fill us in on thursday. all we know is "everything's under control".

well, i just got the news that it was a indeed a bomb there. but not planted by any terrorists. it's a relic bomb from World War II(wow, so long ago and it has not exploded yet), found by the construction workers. i THINK they found it when they were drilling the ground. can you imagine the whole impact if the bomb was not found and it only explodes when the flats are built and new residents move in. shuddersss. lucky it was founded. in time. you can read a little bit about it from here. phew. now that i know, i feel more at ease. so relax people. haha.
however, the sight today was indeed something you don't get to see everyday. a whole long line of Nanhuarians walking towards Clementi MRT station. blocking traffic and well, conjesting the pathway. cool:D

phew. COMMONS ARE FINALLY OVER FOR UPPER SEC! i mean, it has been over since the last paper on Friday but you know what i mean haha. ALL THE BEST LOWER SEC, ONE MORE PAPER!
today was a horrific day. it started off with an insane morning assembly where the lower sec students are so argh. i just can't find a word to describe how i feel just getting them to settle down. what's the BIG deal with the water on the floor? sheesh. too pampered. to make things worse, i only see so few councilors helping out. COUNCILORS, WHERE ARE ALL OF YOU?!?! let me see you guys working so i wouldn't have to scold you all right, i don't like scolding you guys at all. i was so utterly disappointed. and of course, the worst part of the morning was when the student body along with the staff had to stand for 20+ minutes listening to Dr Foo talk. sheesh. i walked in and out of the sick bay, bringing people to rest and bringing those recovered back to class. i walked people to the toilet so they can vomit. i poured cups of water to help them relief ache in the stomach. it was like public duty day for SJAB. isn't the welfare of the students top priority, that's why we have air-cons installed and on for the the whole day to help block out the noise from the construction site to provide a more conducive environment for studying to take place? what is this then? disrupting the common tests for lower sec since most of the people who aren't feeling well come from the lower sec. this is crazy.
well, at least things got better when we had the air-con on and well, a short circuit occured. but we got our lights and fans and air-cons back to work after recess. now, the classroom becomes a better place for us to study in and of course, for those sleepy heads, a better place to sleep in. pros and cons to this. should've known better that negative effects can never be avoided or neglected. hope this air-con thing works out to the student's benefit.

IT'S OVER! we did it! i think we're cool, leaders! though we had times of unhappiness together but in the end we managed to work well together and make this camp a success.
COUNCIL: all of you rock! yeahyeah. if not for you, this camp can never work out even with a perfect foolproof plan. thanks for standing by the EXCO and helping us out in any little way. thanks for showing concern for all of us and wanting to lighten our work load, thanks alotalotalot. i dont know how to tell you but yeah just really loads of thanks. and haha, i'm sorry if i scolded you and that i wasnt really pleasant to you at any point of time in the camp and before the camp. i'm sorry and you can actually remember it coz i think i THINK i will not be scolding you again in this year unless anything happens. so, rest well and if you have a sexy voice like mine now, drink lots of water. i'll see you guys tomorrow in school! have lots of sleep coz i know you'll be really tired.
LEADERS: I'M SORRY if i was too fierce and the way i talked to all of you weren't nice. please forgive me. with this camp, i'm sure we can all continue to work well together as leaders of NHHS, if we have a chance together in the future. this camp has helped us forge bonds of friendships and of course, i've seen support from you, all of you. i know it's tiring, i know it was tough but i'm sure you had fun times too:D thanks for showing concern for us, knowing that we're all tired. i'm touched really. and i'll never forget that. this camp would never be as fun and as enjoyable if not for you. THANK YOU. THANKS ALOT.
SJAB: my dearest squadmates. i know you guys are upset over what happened during OC'08 but i hope OC'09 will be a good experience for all of you. thanks for supporting me, consoling me and talking to me when i'm stressed out, when i'm tired, when i think i cant take it anymore. especially chng huimin haha. thanks for being there for me all this while. and of course, thanks to everybody for helping me look after my sister for that short while when i needed to go away for awhile. i wouldnt have known what to do if not for you guys. i was so tired already and my sister having a fever was like a bomb to set me off. thanks alot and trust me i love all of you, 3906.
NPCC: thanks alot, especially to Joven and Wai Hoong. i know you are upset and maybe disappointed but i'm sure you're angry. but still you guys are great and wonderful. if not for you, i wouldnt be able to survive the whole orientation night alone. thanks for encouraging me, and cheering me up when i'm down, when i'm angry, when i just think everything sucks. thanks thanks thanks. i'll never never forget how you guys have helped me along the way. i hope we can continue to work together next time :D
last but not least, my best team EXCO: in fact you guys are not the least. you guys are like one of the 'most'. i'm so glad that OC turned out well and we all still managed to remain as friends or if not, even better friends. planning a camp isnt easy, what if the flooding of email inbox everyday and trying to find timings whereby everyone can make it for meetings. but well, all this are not wasted. we did well, you guys are did really well. congratulations James, your Night Activity was a real success as most of the sec 1s got scared the hell out of them at the haunted house. haha. recalling this makes me happy. it was so really funny you know. their reaction was like *cant help laughing hahahahaha* really funny lah. esp when the boys start screaming when i scream near them hahaha. and best of all, i got scared too. i got so scared i dont dare to walk down the corridors alone. haha. Jingyi and Kuanlian, your survivor challenge went well too. i'm sure this games helped to make the sec 1s bond better with their class and their class councilors. good job! Jingyi, thanks for consoling me when i broke down. thanks alot. but really i couldnt take it when my sister fell sick. thanks! Evelyn and Lynn, if there's no Evelyn and Lynn, the camp would be like luan dao siao. coz you two are so important! LOGISTICS! no logistics how to run camp, how to play game, how to have tribal runway? haha. and thanks for providing small entertainment like " please press the button for one second before you speak into the walkie talkie" and "can you speak slower, i cant hear what you are saying". evelyn, you keep repeating the above mentioned sentences until i smile at myself while doing whatever i was doing like i'm insane. haha. and yeah doing the 'Nobody but you' dance. haha. thats good distraction from the tiredness and everything. and of course, the overall camp i/c Karine! we did it! you did it too! ni shi yi ge nv qiang ren haha. dont get too upset about anything since what's done cannot be undone. so just think about nice happy things like the camp is over! and we managed to walk through it and walk out of it not being seriously 'injured'. we're cool:D:D:D:D okay, though i'm supposed to be the i/c of campfire, oh i mean orientation night but sheesh. i think it's screwed. :/ i'm sorry everybody. sigh. we might have everything planned out nicely but apparently the alumni wasnt well prepared. they were writing their emcee script just before the event it was like so *John's clap* yeah. sian. but everyone did a good job, in one way or another, to make this camp run. oh btw we forgot to do the punch fist thing. haha. i guess we just had too many things to do when we saw each other to remember. let's all rest well and i'll see you guys tomorrow. and i think i have the worst throat here now haha. but drink more water too, nevertheless. i love you guys too! and i'll upload the pictures next time. soon i hope im just too tired now. feel like sleeping already. oh yeah taking about sleeping, i was taking short naps like on bus trips and all of that. and guess what, i dreamt that i was still in OC. i dreamt that i was asking some councilors to do something, i was discussing something regarding to the camp with you guys. and it all felt so real like i am still in the camp with all of you that when i wake up, i realised that the camp is over and i'm on my way to somewhere else and surprisingly i feel disappointed. so i must have enjoyed the camp alot, though i screamed and shouted alot, i went around scolding people and i was like fierce? but ha. i was not angry i was not feeling any negative feelings. i only really felt angry for once and really sad the other. these were times when i felt tears in my eyes. and of course, the last two times were when i was talking to the leaders and i got so touched about how they cared for us and when i hugged karine, knowing that our efforts did not go down the drain and that we did it. we did it, i told myself and i told karine. oh no, now i feel like crying. shucks. okay, so conclusion, let's all rest well and see you guys soon:D

well, today's SJAB's first 2009 Promotion parade, to 3906, i'm really sorry that i didnt turn up for it coz the meeting ended late and oh shucks. i think i forgot to tell all of you that i had something on later and i had to leave the school by 5 coz i had dinner appointment. I'm sorry. i dont know the results coz nobody told me anything. but congratulations to those who got the rank they wanted and to those who didnt get what they want, work harder and i'm sure you can achieve it.
